Field Services
Westwater can perform and manage field services for environmental, water resources, or construction projects in a variety of settings. Westwater has a strong health and safety ethic, performs field record-keeping, and has an excellent health and safety record.
In hiring Westwater you’ll have a contractor who:
- Understands hydrologic and geochemical foundations of environmental investigative procedures.
- Develops innovative and cost-saving approaches to environmental investigations.
- Skillfully manages subcontractors and manages risk, thoroughly documents field activities, decisions, rationale, and direction.
- Has worked with drilling methods including: direct push technology, hollow-stem auger, air and mud rotary, air rotary casing hammer, and Rotosonic; installed monitoring and/or production wells with each of these methods.
- Field program management in administratively complex urban settings.
- Designs water wells, oversees installation and testing; performs hydraulic and water quality data interpretation.
- Prepares detailed Cost Proposals and Project Work Plans, Health & Safety Plans, and Sampling and Analysis & Quality Assurance Project Plans.
- Leads field efforts under strict data quality requirements, mentors and trains junior staff, teaches field hydrogeology and defensible documentation for undergraduate and graduate levels, respectively.
- Maintains professional liability insurance needed to hire drilling, laboratory, and other service providers, and execute all aspects of field work.
